A journaling & health tracker app for college students
Introduction
This case study was done as a part of the Georgia Tech Bits of Good Design Bootcamp. GT BoG is a campus organization that connects students with local nonprofits by building powerful web apps. Our team conducted case studies of health and wellness apps to develop design solutions to meet users’ needs.
MY ROLE
I contributed to the overall design process and worked on product scoping, user flows, wireframes, rapid prototyping, usability testing, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
Furthermore, I collaborated with my teammate to develop an interview guide, conduct user research, and synthesize research findings to produce user-centered solutions.
PROJECT SCOPE
A team of two UX/UI design boot-campers (Partner: Zeyna Abdulla). 6 Weeks (Remote)
TOOLS
Figma, Google Forms, Google Sheets
Key Takeaways
Letting our users guide the process.

We are constantly inundated with ideas that trackers are the key to habit-building. However, learning that these trackers can be triggering to some users allowed us to take a new approach to health & wellness logging.
